A Compelling Vision is a physical representation of the things you daydream about and desire for yourself, for your families and for your community. I am in the process of developing as a leader and visionary.  The launch of this website marks a significant moment in my life of finally executing a plan that will take me to the next level of empowerment. Thus, I hope you will continue to join me on this incredible journey.

I am your International Sister dedicated to enlightening, inspiring and facilitating the use of Contemplative Christian and African centered principles for heart, mind, body and soul care. My Compelling Vision is clear: “Encouraging Hearts, Enlarging Visions, and Embodying Hope.”

In my mind’s eye, I can see a stretch of sand and teal blue sea that sends a fresh ocean breeze through open oval windows, with silk sheer white curtains blowing gently at the side. There are hard wood floors, airy open spaces, circular archways and plenty of cozy places to gather, dance, recite poetry, recreate, dream-build and dine royally. A winding staircase ascends three levels, and at the top of this 3 story hexagon is a retreat center and spa and my study/sanctuary. There is a sliding glass door next to the fireplace, which is adjacent to a jacuzzi tub-steam room- sauna-bathroom suite! It is from this special place that I pray, pamper and prepare for the seminars, self-help books and inspirational speaking engagements that will help me and others reach our desired level of personal and professional growth.

By the pool, on a moonlit, soy candle glowing patio, my dream husband and I are greeting guests from Saudi Arabia, India, China, Nigeria, Cameroon, Uganda, Kenya, South Africa, Sudan, Ethiopia, Jamaica, United Kingdom, Mexico, Brazil, America, as well as our Ghanaian families and friends. We are enjoying fresh grilled tilapia, roasted corn and other grilled veggies, jollof rice, banku and palaver sauce. Fresh mango and Fan vanilla frozen yogurt is served for dessert. Ice cold Voltic mineral water (from the Volta Region in Ghana) and sparkling apple cider mixed with sparkling water, pieces of apple, lime, lemon and mint top off the meal! In the background is a soft, melodic drum beat that intensifies as dancers from the University of Ghana’s School of Performing Arts lead us through a series of gentle, invigorating moves that end in a circle dance of affirmations and praise. The President of Ashesi University offers remarks and my colleagues are eager to arrange study abroad exchange possibilities with both Universities. The atmosphere is full of positive, joyful energy.

Opportunities for the exchange of transformational ideas, meetings and connections among colleagues bring these dreams to reality. We are pleased with the Pan African cultural infusion and direction towards community building, cooperative economics, collective work and responsibility, as well as the ability to bridge the unnecessary gaps between Africans in America, the Middle East, Asia, Latin America, Europe, Africa, the Caribbean and other parts of the world. I passionately and faithfully believe that this kind of dialogue and personal experience is a primary passport to an idyllic lifestyle I’ve claimed in advance for myself, for my family and my friends.

It is important to dream-build until it’s done and then build another one! It is essential to prepare for the blessings to come. If you look back on every time you have been blessed, there were steps traced back to when you prepared. It is my hope that you hear this clarion call, know immediately what to do, and move swiftly into a place of abundant blessings. Are you with me?

I invite you to share or begin formulating snapshots of your Compelling Vision and more importantly, how to draw yourself into the kaleidoscope of those things you daydream about!

Reach out, call or skype, I’m available to talk about your vision and how you play an integral role in its realization, in any living color of your choosing.

With every good wish,
Dr. Temille
