Perseverance is not a long race; it is many short races one after another. – Walter Elliott
Prior to the 8th cycle lab work, I took a moment to reflect on how far God has brought me. By His Grace, I was able to persist, prosper and experience the Peace of His Presence in an unprecedented way. For this, I am truly grateful and blessed.
On the night before the 8th cycle of chemo, I did a half-moon lit night mindful walking meditation in the park with the #9 art sculpture in front of my house. It was a beautiful, gentle breezy evening, and a perfect place to walk in gratitude for having come thus far by faith.
But God!
By His Grace and Mercy, I made it through all 8 cycles enveloped in Love, Joy, Peace and Comfort. Even when I experienced sadness, there was still joy; in my solitude, I was not alone. This healing journey brought me closer to the Source of my strength, and Lover of my soul.
Thank you Lord!
The fact is, that to do anything in the world worth doing, we must not stand back shivering and thinking of the cold and danger, but jump in and scramble through as well as we can. – Robert Cushing

Dearest Temille,
I’ve been following your valiant and faith-filled journey, and Dirk and I continue to uphold you in prayer each night. Very true: you are NOT alone and you are loved beyond measure by a host of companions–seen and unseen.
May your blessed walk continue into full and flourishing health!
Much love,
Jane

Reallt these walls are a good point to show. These are also a very good example of militarism’s effects on our lives even in the middle of the cities. I live in Turkey and it is very usual for us to see such scenes, even in the middle of the city center, such walls, such seperations. All of us are potential criminals or terrorists. But the city is ours also. And i want my city back:)
