Time is healer, time is a circle, it’s
healing circle time. Put your pain on paper,
give your brain a break, go deep within, get
clarity and perspective; go experience
the cleansing power of the pen!
What a short, yet deep poem–Time is healer….Put your pain on paper….
Just last night, as I was studying to prepare for a computerized essay exam I scheduled to take today, I felt drawn to journal about my 3 1/2 mile walk around a lovely lake called Lake Merritt in Oakland, CA.
Once I started writing, I couldn’t stop. I wrote for over an hour. As time passed, I worried that I was spending precious study time journaling; however, I had a sense that journaling was as important, at that moment in my life, as studying.
Recording my thoughts about how my life is transforming since the death of my stepfather, will have a major impact on my life as much as studying.
If fact, some say, the day before an exam is time for rest and preparation, rather than cramming.
Well, my exam is over. I fell OK about my performance. Extra cramming would not have helped, so I am very happy I have my journaled thoughts to review as I ponder my feelings, emotions and actions–today, tomorrow and in the future.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts. I continue to hold you in the light of happiness and health.
